This York condenser unit came to us needing more than just a basic checkup. The condenser fan motor had failed and the capacitor was worn out - two components that, when neglected, can take down the whole system. We swapped both out with OEM parts, meaning the replacement motor is built exactly to the manufacturer's specs for this unit. No generic substitutes.

We also recharged the system with R-410A refrigerant back to factory specifications. Low refrigerant doesn't just mean weak cooling - it puts extra strain on the compressor, which is one of the most expensive parts on any system. Getting the charge right protects the whole unit.

Beyond the parts replacement, we ran a full preventative tune-up. That covers refrigerant levels and pressure, thermostat calibration, wiring and contacts, the evaporator coil, condenser cleaning, condensate drain, outdoor disconnect, and a compressor assessment at startup. Every item gets checked and documented. At the end, the homeowner gets a clear breakdown of what we found and what, if anything, still needs attention.

This kind of service matters a lot in Oceanside, CA. Coastal air is harder on HVAC equipment than most people realize - salt air accelerates wear on motors, contacts, and coils. Staying ahead of that with regular maintenance is almost always cheaper than waiting for a breakdown.

When we finished, the fan motor was spinning clean, refrigerant levels were dialed in, and the system was cooling the way it should. That's the goal every time - leave it running better than we found it.
