Home renovations have a lot of moving parts. New walls, new finishes, updated plumbing - and somewhere in the middle of all that, you need to figure out how the home is going to be heated and cooled. That's where we came in on this one in Vista.
The homeowner was doing a full renovation and needed a reliable HVAC solution that didn't require tearing up the walls to run ductwork. A ductless mini split was the right call. Clean to install, efficient to run, and it doesn't compromise the work already done on the interior.
We mounted the AUX outdoor condenser unit along the exterior wall and ran the refrigerant lines up through a dedicated line set cover. Everything is routed tight to the building - no messy exposed lines running in different directions. It's a straightforward install done the right way.
Ductless systems like this are a go-to for renovation projects across Vista and the broader San Diego area. They give you zoned control, lower energy overhead compared to older forced-air setups, and they're a much simpler path forward when adding new ductwork just isn't practical. With summer heat already here, getting cooling sorted before the finish work wraps up makes a lot of sense.
