Not every home has a dedicated mechanical room. A lot of houses in Oceanside have their entire heating system tucked inside a narrow interior closet - and that's exactly what we were working with here.

The challenge with compact HVAC closets like this one is that there's almost no margin for error. Everything has to fit just right. The furnace, the flue pipe, the refrigerant lines, the condensate drain - all of it needs to be properly routed and secured within a very tight footprint. Cut a corner and you're looking at clearance issues, code violations, or worse, a safety hazard.

We installed a Goodman gas furnace here and routed the flue vent cleanly up through the top of the closet. The condensate drain line runs neatly off to the side, and all the connections are solid. It's not glamorous work from the outside, but getting it right inside that closet is what actually matters.

Goodman is a brand we trust for installs like this. They're built to handle the mild but real heating demands you get in coastal Southern California, and they're reliable over the long haul. Good equipment installed correctly is the combination that keeps homeowners from calling us back for repairs two winters later.

If your home has a similar setup and your furnace is getting old or isn't keeping up, this kind of install is exactly what we do. It doesn't matter how tight the space is - we work with what's there and do it right.
